Where is he given the opportunity? He's called in to run the ball or trick plays. He's already overtaken the initial backup from FSU so obviously he can read defenses. If not he'd still be 3rd string.
Alcorn, maybe USM, and tonight on the reverse he had the option to pass and did not.
