KT has got the POTENTIAL to be good, maybe great (at MSU), but he?s not mentally capable of leading an SEC team his true freshman year. I totally understand that at the beginning of the season Shapen was better. However, every day KT practices and plays he's gaining ground on Shapen. This isn't that old school football we played where Qb's had to do everything. They have a mic in their helmet talking to them right upto the snap telling them what to do. You also can't fake football getting tackled is part of the game and the kid has "IT". That's ability, confidence, and the mental fortitude. Do you not remember what our former true freshman did last year when Shapen got hurt? He led the SEC in passing and touchdowns against Texas, Georgia, and others in the month of October. He did that cold right off the bench. KT has that ability and more. Lebby's offense make Qb's shine with his structure and pressure on defenders. It simplifies reads and produces wide open plays which any legit Qb can take advantage of.
