So we were lied to about it being an injury? What the heck happened? He was playing well and getting good playing time. Was he just a head case?

There's two schools of thought and I've heard both.

    1. He was injured and he thought it was more serious than it was and didn't want to come back even when our doctors cleared him so he left the team.

    2. He was injured and tried to come back too quickly, even though we told him not to, and reinjured it and left the team.

The only thing for certain is that he DID have an injury and he and the medical staff had a disagreement on the diagnosis.

Good question and I wish I knew the reasons. We definitely needed him this year too. I have a feeling we will see some other departures as well.

I think we see 2-4 more. Could be as little as just Myers and Foumena and could be as many as those two, Kugel, Warren, and Murphy.

He got hurt, realized during rehab that he was vital to team and tried to renegotiate his NIL package. That?s it.

Him deciding that changed the whole trajectory of our season. He was the difference maker. Jans rode him early in the season and he was the reason we clicked.

Correct. I didn't sugar coat that this is a tall ask.

Why don't you want him back? I'm genuinely curious because the opinions on this kid are all over the place. At the end of the day he gave us exactly what we hoped for when we brought him in. 8-12 pts a game most nights and solid defense.

Clary was not nearly as good as our fans think he was.

We act like it was the missing piece.

    Totally wrong imo.

He was a true PG for a team that didn't have one.

Here's the elephant in the room. When your best player is a 5'10" scoring guard who is better at coming off screens on the catch than he is at scoring off the bounce, it's hard to build a team around that player.

You can't play 2 guys in the backcourt that are 6'0 and under. You also shouldn't have 2 ball dominant guards in the same backcourt. Clary was always a bad fit. Waste of NIL.

Does Trayvon mark have another year? I would love a big guard that can defend and shoot

I'm 99% sure he doesn't have another year but even he does, he won't be coming here.

He was not making that big of a difference that I saw .

Also, everyone one here complains constantly that Hubbard is hurting us guarding the three. Adding another 5?10 guy doesn?t help that.

I guess 6'1" is ok since OM is in the sweet 16

I mean we were clearly better with him than without. He wasn't Chris Paul or anything but we got worse when he bailed.

Brother, we didn't have anyone even hit 35% from 3, much less 50% from 3.

Disagree. We lost to Butler with him. Then when on a nice run. With Hubbard in the backcourt, the other guard needs to be elite defensively.
