When I was younger I thought my parents were insane and I loved loud music. The older I've gotten the smarter my parents have become and I can't stand loud music. It's not that I don't like music, it's that it physically hurts when it's loud now. With that said for some older folks it's physically impossible to stand for.long periods of time. Just saying.

So, I'm sure the older folk would love to have courtside seats if they can afford it to have an unobstructed view. However if they did, aren't those the coveted seats that the students are demanding. And, older folk are more prone to not coming to games for weather and health related reasons (empty seats).

So do you want old folk to come to the game or not? Or do you just prefer that they wander off and die? I really don't think thats what you want. I was always taught by my parents, who keep getting smarter, to respect your elders. They've earned it.
I live 3 hours from Starkville. After I graduated in '93 I would routinely drive to Starkville for midweek basketball and drive back home after the game. Did this for probably 10 years before kids, work, and life made it difficult. I may try it this year but even if my old ass made the drive it would be difficult for me to stand a majority of the game. But it would be stupid for the current version of me to yell at a younger version of me who can stand a lot.
We talk about younger generations being spoiled but older generations can be pretty spoiled too.
