I am saying that we as a society are so quick to just rid ourselves of something or someone for fear that we might get roped into their issues, when non of that has to be the case. It would have been really neat for the Raiders as an organization and Gruden himself to have come out and apologized, talked about what they are doing to change and learn how this type of language is not acceptable even in a private conversation. That would have been much better for them and society as a whole than what actually took place.
actually he simply should have kept his professional communications professional. i know its hard to understand that one's actions can have consequences, but thems the breaks. there's a reason that the higher you go in most orgs, the fewer emails and such are written. it's hard to be crucified for writing slur-filled emails if they never exist in the first place
