I knew a couple of you would crawl your way out of pitching self in the 5th, then in the 7th, then keep Gordon in, then start self tomorrow...oh but only pitch him when we can maximize his value...neither of you have a ****ing clue. Self is the closer right now deal with it.

Whatever. Dont get angry bc you are the only one in this thread who holds your opinion. IF price is unavailable, then I agree that changes things. But AC said Tuesday price was good to go.

And I'd run Cole back out there in the 9th until it gets hairy. If self can go 4 tomorrow and price 2 that helps a lot.

We will see. But I've watched him for three years and he is a better first baseman than OF. If he can play either in MLB, even better.

He's definitely a better fielding 1st baseman than as an OF but he's way too fast (leading SEC in steals) for any manager in the pros to justify wasting that speed at 1st. They are drooling that they can get a bat with speed to play corner OF when they see Rooker. In their mind they aren't looking at the improved defense they are looking at the opportunity to get two very good bats in the lineup with another good hitter at 1st. Be interesting to watch though. Maybe he'll get lucky and get drafted by the Rockies. I wanna see his bat in Colorado.

He's now the only pitcher other than pilk to have 2 starts vs an sec team to last 5 innings. If this is real, our team is all-the-sudden much better
