Talk about a lose/lose scenario for our girls. You either get the best scorer in WBB history, or Oklahoma on basically their home turf. I still think I'd rather play Oklahoma, just bc we seem to struggle shutting down one woman teams like Epps & the South Carolina girl. I may be wrong though. Oklahoma is also a lower seed, so that's never a bad thing to get in the sweet 16

The Refs let them back in it, we didn't.

Maybe not, but I don't know anything about Oklahoma. A week or two ago I saw a highlight with the Plum gal on Washington's team and she's something else. Of course, that was a highlight reel, but I think she's the leading scorer in the country. Might not want to run into her.

Most of their losses came when January was out hurt, including both regular season ones to Marquette. They might be a Top 10 team with her.

Yea but we do tend to have a few lapses each game where we have a scoring drought, or shoot a bunch of bad shots, or don't get back on D, etc, and let teams back in. Kinda like we did the entire 4th vs USC, and like we did when we let them cut it from 20-10 at the end of the third today. There were some bad calls though today for sure

Impressive to do what we did then...especially considering we were only up 1 at half. Very impressive

In addition to the 3 Marquette losses, those January losses also included losses to
Baylor by 32 (who we may get a shot at in the Elite 8),
UCONN by 45 and
Notre Dame by 14 (who is a 1-seed).
So our win stacks up nicely.

Vic has benched her most of these last two games, though.
