Where they are comfortable, exactly.. Not where they hit .200

It matters somewhat. The most important spots in the lineup are 1,2, & 4. Put you best hitters there & 17 it. With this style of hitting, we are going to hit for more power, but we've got to find the approach to maximize power & OBP. Hopefully, that comes with experience.

    1. This team has atrocious plate discipline. They aren't seeing breaking balls out of the hand. We are using an ambush, collision style hitting approach in order to produce more power. We are producing more power, but it leaves us extremely vulnerable to pitchers that pitch backwards.

    2. We have very little talent in the bullpen. Bad arm actions & deliveries that add up poor command & control. Wes Johnson will fix this in time, but the recruiting in our bullpen leaves a lot to be desired. Wes will fix this, but he's got to work with what he has right now.

If something is working then don't fix it. I agree with that.

However, the sample size of the season is WAY too small to make any valid observations about where guys are comfortable in the lineup. Some of these guys aren't going to touch a breaking ball ball or change-up regardless of what spot in the lineup they are hitting.

Yes when we average more runs per game- the line up is about far more than 1 hitter

SMH... All this arguing over lineups. We should be able to throw any 9 guys we got and put 5 runs on this team... Just like we should be able to throw any pitchers we have last night and held eastern Kentucky to under 8 runs. Look at our results this year and tell me the outlier... It's Oregon. We aren't a good baseball team

Right on! Because 3 hole often hits with nobody on and 2 out.. But these guys stuck in the 70's say best hitter is 3 hole cause thats how Casey Stengal did it!

We don't.. The sample size is so futile is silly. Kruger-Brown 2-3 because Kruger is a BETTER hitter and the 2 hole is more important

And Collins swings at two on his nose. Someone said it early, we seem to not have bat discipline and guess on a lot of pitches.

I hope our bullpen guys watched this closer. He rammed it in the zone with the fastball and commanded the plate.

The feel of this team is unbelievable,? Rooker said. The locker room camaraderie, the locker room chemistry it?s unbelievable. Everybody is having fun. We?re building off each other.

We are about to lose 5 straight because Vandy is going to kick our ass.

Imploding last night did something to us mentally. Body language looked awful tonight
