Why did I turn this on to see us lose again. Bye John. We lose this and we might get swept in Nashville

Guys just except the fact that we are going to lose this game. This is going to be a rough weekend in Nashville. Team is facing some serious adversity right now. They are pressing too damn much. Just play ball!

That has zero to do with what we are talking about. We are talking about a better offense with Kruger batting 2nd vs Kruger not batting 2nd.

Its overwhelming how much better our offense is with Kruger out of the 2-hole

You don't know shit mentally about the game. Stop acting like you do. You have no idea how he feels about hitting 3 hole. I have a sneaky feeling he hit 3 in high school and Juco.

Kruger isn't comfortable hitting 3rd (your and ISID argument)

I'm not disputing this- it has zero to do with what I said. Our offense is clearly better when he bats 3rd. Its overwhelming.

I haven't liked Cohen for about two seasons now. But I still thought maybe he could get the job done. I'm slowly beginning to think he won't ever get us to where we want to be.

If we don't pull this one out u can't blame the pitching. And please don't think one player in RF would have made a difference.

Pound the zone hump. Nice job so far, better than the rest of our garbage pen.

It's pretty obvious - whatever pitching coach is doing is not effective. Butch went through the fall with these guys and they were lights out against our hitters which are better than what we have faced. As a team, pitchers are not prepared. Need to figure this out.

You guys arguing about lineups are a joke. It is far more important who's in your lineup than what order they hit in. If we are losing because of our lineup, then we have much bigger issues than that, which we do.

    1. This team has atrocious plate discipline. They aren't seeing breaking balls out of the hand. We are using an ambush, collision style hitting approach in order to produce more power. We are producing more power, but it leaves us extremely vulnerable to pitchers that pitch backwards.

    2. We have very little talent in the bullpen. Bad arm actions & deliveries that add up poor command & control. Wes Johnson will fix this in time, but the recruiting in our bullpen leaves a lot to be desired. Wes will fix this, but he's got to work with what he has right now.

He hit cleanup last year.. I'd rather him be cleanup than 3 hole too... 3 hole comes up with nobody on and 2 outs a lot more. Wasted AB there.

Young throws a cheeseburger for a double. Shit pitch in clutch situation. Rugby wild pitches guy to second so he can score on a 2 out seeing eye grounder. Maybe you can blame the pitching a little. Maybe if the pitching would get ahead of hitters it might be better.

So having a .200 hitter in the 3 hole is better than a .555 hitter in the 2 hole?????

We've scored 1 run against a team that AU scored 35 runs in 3 games last weekend, and your complaint is about the pitching?

Agree with almost all of this. You better have the right guys in the lineup, but when you get them there better be sure you have them in the right spots.
