Apparently we were too cheap to pay for it ourselves. A donor gave the money is my understanding. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
I think we're too damn stubborn and the Nike holding it hostage thing is another lame excuse from our AD.
You know- just like how our players all "really like" the hideous uniforms in whatever sport and find them more comfortable than the ones that the fans like.
The AD wants M-State to be our "brand"- screw what the fans and alumni like. Nevermind that we STILL get confused for Ole Miss and Michigan State.
I mean, how much is Nike really making off of the interlocking MSU logo right now? I bet we could get it back for a fairly reasonable price.
