Especially since this is his first job away from Craig Bohl at FCS. Bohl was good but not great at Wyoming and that is all he knows. Move up a level and have the same success in G5.
We could also consider Matt Entz, who won 2 national titles at North Dakota State after Bohl, and then was solid in his first year at Fresno State in 2025:
