Dan could not recruit receivers. It held us back most years.

Would Bob Stoops ever come back. The guy left on a high note. I know he wanted to retire while he had some life left in him but dang. What a time to retire and the way he did was very commendable.

I am probably one of the biggest Moorhead haters, but we still weren?t beating Bama or LSU in BR in 2018 because we didn?t have a good enough passing game. That said, any other coach would have had control enough of the team to go 10-2 and get a NY6 bowl and not have a tutor scandal.

Mullen would have given us a chance in both of those games. If you remember- LSU was in a rainstorm that year. We held LSU to 239 yards of total offense.

Would have whipped LSU. Fitz threw 5 interceptions. Mullen wouldn't have thrown a pass. Defense stuffed LSU.

The Vegas favorites as of today?
LSU - Nick Saban. Yes that is kinda shocking.
Florida - Lane Kiffin. And it is by a mile. Drink is second but Kiffin is waaay ahead of him with the odds.
Arkansas- Ryan Silverfield.
Auburn - Jon Sumrall. Behind him is Durkin.

Sorry. Can?t buy the first one. There is a Statue of Nick Saban at Bryant-Denny. No way will the Tide powers allow it to stand if he goes to their second biggest rival! The fans would tear it down!

If I was going to place a $50 bet on it today, here's how I'd have it:
Florida-Kiffin. The more this drags on, the more I think it's going to happen. The OM media seems to be getting more worried by the day and that tells me they are hearing not so encouraging things on their end. The only thing ole NotAFan is hanging his hat on is the timing thing.
LSU-Lincoln Riley. Call it a hunch. A lot of LSU people wanted him last time and I think he's had enough of his West Coast experience. He also has rehabbed his image a good bit this year in terms of being a good playcaller.
Auburn-Jon Sumrall. All the talk is this the preferred candidate.
Arkansas- Silverfield has a ton of momentum but I think this thing will turn to Franklin in the end. Also watch out for Drinkwitz here. I think he's a possibility.

Correct. We would have beaten lsu.
They won 19-7. Their only TD was a 2 yard drive after one of four interceptions we threw. Four!!
We would have won that game something like 17-6.

I think Sumrall at Auburn makes them a problem again. He will do very well there. If they also fire Cohen after the hire, then they will be relevant again.

Does Joe Judge ever come to MSU? Could be a good mentor that Lebby needs on game days.

As an analyst? Maybe.
He's Ole Miss's QB coach and to be quite frank Matt Holocek has a done a very impressive job with Kamario Taylor for us at MSU. I do not want to lose him.

That would cause too much potential discord in the program though. That's why they constantly spread rumors about whoever our coach is leaving.
Their M.O. is to talk about how much their coach loves Oxford and Ole Miss when it comes to coaches they want to keep.

If there was the slightest chance Lane was staying Not A Fan would have adamantly said he is staying. Neal has the gist of the back channel discussions and it is all pointing to Lane leaving.

Lol. During their podcast YESTERDAY, both Neal and Chase said they'd bet Lane was staying at OM. They must've heard something...

Someone posted over on the ole miss 247 that the players are talking about the posts now also. I just want the doubt in their minds so their fans stay home for the egg bowl.
