He just is not ready. Dak literally did the same thing his true freshman year. We were all screaming for Mullen to let him throw it and he did not trust him to make the reads to throw it.
And 24 year old, five year (?) starter made an not so great read on a failed 4th down attempt also, didn't he? What bothered me more was Lebby calling the same type play 4 consecutive times in that offensive sequence.
