The interlocking MSU will be our primary logo by 2027 at the latest. It was always going to be a matter of time once the fanbase knew it was possible before they demanded it back permanently, and they will.

The blame on Nike for not being able to use it never made sense, and now we know it was BS. So they have opened that can and it will not close. I would not be surprised if we make the move this off-season.

This would be glorious. Our logos and logo changes each day of the week have been embarrassing since we stopped wearing interlocking. Go back and be done with it.

Smootness is right. The problem is Robbie Faulk and his minions were so vocal about wearing State script that we basically had to wear that for a little while once they got their way. The next year they changed their tune to interlocking less than a year later. Logo changes are expensive.

Yea the group of posters who were on GP at the time, now On3, all were pushing HARD for that script state and then the minute they won they wanted the interlocking. The thing is, the interlocking was available the whole time and they knew it was available. Rosebowl told everyone it was available in 2021 and they didn't start pushing for the Script until 2022.

For some reason and I don't remember everything I post but I remember this- I told them if we go to State script but get the interlocking back they're going to want that so why not wait?

And I do remember Rosebowl bringing that to light too.

I generally don't like white helmets, but with the interlocking MSU against TN, there it was for the world to see, MSU, Mississippi State University. When asked since 1977, where I graduated from college, I have always replied State or Mississippi State, never "MState. I have the Bulldog Club script State tag on the front of my Equinox, but the leading "S" looks like a musical note or symbol. An interlocking MSU decal has returned to the rear hatch glass of the vehicle. We have more choices to represent MSU than any university I know. Maybe it makes for more sales to our fractured fanbase, but doesn't do much for national identity. JMO, but M over S for baseball and nationally known, Interlocking for football, MState for MBB and choose from any of them including scrip for all other sports. Hail State!

I was pretty much over the interlocking MSU but admit they looked pretty good. I wouldn’t have a problem going all in or at least mix it up during the season. I hated the white helmets for a long time but don’t mind mixing it up as well. I would prefer maroon most of the time tho. Next time I have dinner with Keenum I’ll make that suggestion. Ha.

Just make it our permanent logo already. Every other one has haters... especially the script State <shudders>, and the banner MState <meh, I like it>... but everyone seems to love the interlocking MSU. Do it Salmon!
