Same. I’m an old geezer set in my ways and I have come around to liking it more. I’m guessing we will probably be using both going forward.

We will and there's plans for a black one and a grey one. If the black one looks like the mockups then it is going to be incredible.

Are the black mockups on interwebs?
Grey would be great. Really glad we are looking at other shades.
My company went through a marketing consulting for a new logo and overall branding....and when I mentioned possibly maroon the national marketing group reminded me it is one of the worst primary colors and is better as the secondary color or have a really good complimentary color with it. MSU really needs to experiment with these as you say.

They're kind of out there. Rocky Vaughn, who created the state flag, made some mockup helmets back in August. Those will give you a pretty good idea. Although the black one I was shown didn't actually have any maroon in it.

7/11. Did not think the white interlock would be our most featured lid of the season. Grew on me heavily though. Really sad we never saw Maroon interlock/white/gray but I?ll save my complaints for next season since this year was such a success.

I would pay money for a photo. Our secret.

The white helmet doesn?t need a stripe down the middle. It would look so much better without

The white helmet doesn't need to exist. The Snow Bowl was a quarter century ago. We had our big celebration when Tennessee came to town. Time to move on.
Mississippi State wears maroon helmets.
There is not a successful era in our history that we wore white helmets. Let them die.
And no. IDAF what the players want to wear. They are paid to play not choose aesthetics. If you want to wear a stormtrooper uniform go to Auburn, Penn State, or Texas. Those are the only schools at which it looks right instead of washed out, boring, and lame. It looks dated. It's 1970s peewee football uniform.

Proof logos and uniforms don't win games - teams do. Get right coaches and players. Fans don't win games either. Our fans have done their part in this losing fiesta.

1967 - 1973 say hello. Probably the worst years ever for MSU football.
