Yesterday it was about lack of situational hitting with runners on base. We are failing to put the ball in play far too frequently with runners in scoring position.
Which is a carry over issue from last year if I recall correctly. Didn?t have the bullpen to consistently hold a lead and the offense couldn?t mount a comeback or put the game out of reach when they had the chance.
