Numbers game more than anything, is my guess. Long is a really good player and has a lot of heart. SVS-it?s like I?ve told you before. This coaching staff loves spin rate, velo for pitchers and exit velo and launch points for hitters. They?ll see a lot of guys in showcases but not in the HS season. If they would watch the HS season-they would?ve tried to pick up the Trimble kid and Moinstere kid at NWR over KK Clark and Loftin. Same could be said for the Nikko kid that was at MRA and now at USM
