Did you wake up today and think it was still the mid 2000s?

    Texas #16 scoring defense - 34 points
    SMU - #15 scoring defense - 28 points
Iowa St. - #33 scoring defense 50 points

37 PPG against Top 35 scoring defenses. Try again.

Elko is waiting on A&M and Mich state. I think it's Odom, Fritz, Sumrall or Lebby. had a face to face with fritz, maybe more than one, been chatting up Lebby alot. Odom is ready to move right now and Sumrall is still busy too, but this does not mean Selmon will have a noon Saturday presser.

If it's out of those I hope it's Sumrall with Odom next in line.

True or false, this will be a narrative because OK wants him gone.

I don't think it's Sumrall. I think there's an issue and we're foolish at best to pay a $5mm buyout for Odom. No SEC team would do that and it would show what fools we really are. I won't be surprised if there is another name that pops up either. If things start to take off fast, watch out.

Would Lebby really need to address his team? Was that not part of what was said?

I'd be lying if I said I knew. I do believe there are a couple interviews left unless we just take someone suddenly. No clue who one of those two is.

It's really hard to believe we can 17 up such an easy time to be handling a coach search, but we're trying hard. Been disappointing at best and we seem to have locked onto some booster guys. Our boosters suck by the way. They can 17 up a wet dream and do at every opportunity. Then you've got leadership that just doesn't prioritize winning in football. They've got the chance to make a good hire but it'll probably one of the guys we've heard already and none are impressive options or recharge a dead program.

That our boosters could 17 up a wet dream is an understatement. We have been and always will be our own worst enemy. I do not know who this is going to be yet but I still hope we dont Mittippy Tate this up.

Who is a good hire in your opinion. You are constantly critical and never offer suggestions.

Thank you for posting this. I was about to go pull the stats then saw you already did. What a misinformed post, Lebby has that offense humming against good competition.

Lebby is a fall back option for someone else from the information I'm getting. Selmon may be ninja like.

NFL front office guy told me Sumrall or Fritz would be his choices. Mature leaders. Not high on on any of the others.

I was saying this last night. It has a Greg Byrne vibe to it. Let's hope it doesn't turn out to be a templeton/Cohen situation.

I've been a state fan long enough to know you bet heavy on our fall back options
