One close to being done, one getting started. My money is on this going on til maybe Monday. We should know soon. Let's see if we're the same old MSU or try something new.
Merry Turkey Day an Go to hell OM!
When would Missouri recruit higher than that ever?

I?ve not even thought about Jason Candle!! He?s been at Toledo so long and thrived there. That?s actually a GREAT coach and has had sustained success as a position coach, an OC, and then taking over making huge strides as the HC there.

Facts I know:
Selmon and Lebby have talked multiple times.
Lebby was not in Norman today.
A plane just took off from OKC that's owned by Maroon Air, LLC

This thread is getting sad. Clark said we would mostly be happy. I'm leaning on that.
"False start everybody but the center" referee summarizing Arnett's season performance as a head coach.

So the main issue is his recruiting + the buyout?
That actually seems reasonable to me because as I have said numerous time we need someone that will improve our recruiting department.

Honestly, I would be fine with any of the names mentioned.
There is no perfect coach out there- well maybe Bill Walsh was the closest to me IMO but anyway.
I also want to see what the entire staff looks like.

One good thing about Lebby is we wouldn't necessarily need an OC or QB coach. We can use that money to overpay on an elite DC. I'm sure we'll hire someone to act as a liason for him but one thing I noticed looking at coaching staffs during this search is Georgia's ST guy isn't an on the field staff guy. Similar to Knox this year for us- he was essentially our RB coach so it allowed us to use Hughes as a recruiter.
It really makes you rethink staffing. Probably only a matter of time before someone like Alabama just hires coordinators to be off the field staff and just scheme and call plays and then use the other 10 assistant spots for recruiters. Especially since a lot of elite play callers seem to not be the best recruiters.

Pinkel had multiple Top 20 classes and never dropped below 36th. Same for Drink. Lol. Might want to actually do research on Barry ?my alma mater didn?t want me anymore? Odom.

This would be the worst possible hire for us. He is on the verge of getting run out of Norman for his boneheaded play calls. Be ready to be incredibly frustrated with bubble screens on 3rd and inches and losing 8 yards. Not to mention have no idea if he even believes in playing defense.
Just a huge huge gamble. But hey, the fans that love tempo offense will be happy

If it is Lebby, we have missed badly.
We need a head coach, someone that has run a program before. Surely Selmon knows this?

Probably at least worth noting that UNLV has their best class since 2002.

Would seem like a pretty lazy hire just looking at it from the outside in

It would be Selmon doing his OU buddy's a favor.

He?s averaging 41 PPG good for 4th in the country. Lol
Have you even paid attention this year?

I mean sure. He still has a track record that says that?s an outlier.

Lol. I?m trying hard to understand how scoring 41 PPG is bad. Talk about crazy stuff.

Selmon just tagged Beamer in his Twitter.
Beamerball? No thanks.

Do you even know anything about the offense or you just going to keep spouting off 41 ppg to everyone. Scoring a bunch of pts in a watered down defensive conference when you have a huge talent advantage has zero correlation on being able to run an SEC program
