You know what sells, WINNING. It doesn't matter what you put on a helmet. If you win, you sell gear, get higher enrollments (look at when we were ranked # 1, we had the highest out of state enrollment the next year). If we won the National Championship I could care less if a pink unicorn was on our helmet.
That being said I don't like the M over S on the football helmet, call me small-minded if you want. I am down for the scripted "State".
Winning or not the M-State logo looks like shat.
The M over S would great.
