Part of me feels like it’s somewhat obvious on who it is (Napier or Norvell) and the other part is expecting the unexpected and refuses to be surprised by anything. The anxiety is killing me!! Lol
I love all the speculation. Sounds like we’re down to Napier, norvell, hud then possibly Fritz, Bill Clark, Neal Brown (haven’t heard his name in a while), Chizik (hopefully not).

Been watching a lot on YouTube on several of the names mentioned. Norvell, Napier, HUD, etc.....Out of all press conferences, back stories, etc., I?m sold on Billy Napier. Watching player reactions to when he left ASU and what other former players have said, he?s very well respected.

Thank you Joe 17d over Key year 1... Key knew as long as Joe was at MSU, he wasn't gonna get a chance to see the field. Joe has shown he won't put the best QB in or take a QB out when he's stinking up the place. And who wants to waist their whole career on the bench. 91 is a douche.

KT is a SWAC qb. When he cant compete 50% against SF Austin, you are a bad QB. You sir, are a complete idiot

No. Napier is going to run the ball and then run it again. Obviously he could and SHOULD adjust to what his kids can do but he is not running what Bama is. He is going to be more like Mullen than he is Bama

Thank you... Who the 17 still trusts Joe opinions? 17 completions percentage. W/L is all that matters and Joe 17d that up. Funny how good Fitz and Stevens looked in practice, but barely showed on game day.

Did the kid win? Hell Stevens looked like shit against AC what's your point? Moorehead should have adjust his system last year and this year. And if Schrader took the job from Key so be it.

I cant possibly read through 14 pages of this looking. Did any of our "insiders" confirm a name?

[QUOTE=TaleofTwoDogs;1188730][QUOTE=bobcat91;1188371]KT was recruited for Mullen's offense. Steven's and Schradee were recruited for Moorheads. Mullen was a run first offense. Moorheads isnt. His is predicated on fast reads and accurate throws. That isnt KT.
And from what I've seen, Schrader isn't the guy either. Maybe he will be that guy in the future but for now, with mostly Mullen recruits, why not use KT, his athleticism, skills and experience to run the Mullen offense until Schrader and the rest of the team is ready for JoMo's offense. Does this make to much sense??
Yep

You have to complete passes to be an effective quarterback in the SEC nowadays. If you can’t teams will stack the box and shut you down.
Joe gets a lot of things wrong. I don’t think he got the QB’s wrong based on watching them play. Shrader can run and pass the ball better than KT with less experience and he has also won SEC games.

Shrader did take the job has outperformed KT and a few people still bitched about it.

Schrader took the job from Stevens. But Joe being Joe continues to trott out Stevens, because of practice. KT wasn't a factor ever for Joe. Last year the games Fitz didn't play well, KT didn't deserve a few series? If Shrader was Joe's guy it should've been settled in camp or during the season. Joe only played Shrader because Stevens was hurt.

No because KT got suspended.
And KT played last year in 8 games I believe. Including against Texas A&M.

In the SI article Napier mentioned that his offense is derived from Joe Pendry (former Alabama OL coach), Lane Kiffin, Joe McElwain, and Todd Graham.

NO name, BUT 34 and Commet said it wasn't definitely wasn't Hud. So that narrows it down to Norvell, Chiz, and Napier.
Norvell seems like he's trying to land a bigger job. 34 broke the Chiz rumor then immediately started a thread saying he's often passed false info that even he doesn't believe but he still passes it on to us because it's for the good of the university so.... it seems like Chiz is a smoke screen. Plus, why be so careful to not reveal a name if the name isn't currently coaching? My money is on Napier and I'm very hopeful that's right

Some of you need to realize KT sucks.

I don't get why KT is such a bipolar figure. On the one hand you say he sucks, but aside from 2 game as a true Fr and 1 game at the start of his So year he hasn't had any opportunities to gain experience and get comfortable.
On the flip side people point to his literal HS days to say "He's a winner!" as if every QB of a state champion FB team would be a solid SEC QB. People say he has that "it" factor based on nothing, say he's a better runner than Fitz based on exactly 0 runs Fitz or Shrader couldn't make, and say passing % doesn't matter as long as you're a "winner", as if actually completing passes has no beating on winning.
Personally, when I've seen KT I've seen a decent (NOT otherworldly) runner who is slow to process information and is very inaccurate passing. Shrader is a better athlete, passer, scrambler, and processes info quicker.
KT probably would have done great under Mullen because Mullen could develop and gameplan away from a QB's flaws. But overall I fail to see what makes KT a good QB, and I don't think he's been given enough time for us to say he suck

When did this happen if they've never competed head to head other than spring practice? I guess you refuse to believe what people are saying about the situation. It's not been competition prevailed.

I love it how you internet warriors want to crash on one of our own kids. I bet you are a real bada$$. Nobody sucks that has won the only two games they?ve started, one against a good team. He may not be as good as another QB on roster, but he has potential and saying the kid sucks pretty much shows your own ignorance.
