To me, there are only two guys that someone stand out as big time offensive guys that would come to State....
1) Napier
2) Norvell
Personally, I think it's one of these two, and I hope it's Napier because I think he's a better fit for our recruiting and he will maintain a physicality in the trenches. Norvell is more finesse and his defenses give up way too many points.
Unless it's a wild card like Art Briles, which I hope to hell its not....I think it's either Norvell or Napier. So I'm going with Napier, and I hope I'm right.
I'm just happy as hell it ain't Joe Moorhead. Now I can enjoy the Egg Bowl either way, hopefully we pull the double whammy and beat their ass as Joe's leaves town. HailState and Go To Hell Ole Miss
Great post!! I?m with you 100%! I really hope it?s Napier.

I heard from a friend who is a booster that changes are coming. He seems to be hearing its Eliah Drinkwitz. Hes been pretty accurate before.
But no, guys want to be internet rock stats and break the news so they are lauded. I dont care who gets credit, I just want info. Doing it that way preserves sources, but no, folks want to brag. Just like when Croom was hired, during Jackie's last game the word went through the stadium that it was Croom. I expect we will know tomorrow night.
Why do you give a shit who breaks news first? I?m paying 100% more attention to the news than who broke it.

Assuming that it's Napier, do KT or GS fit the system he runs? Are there any recruits he has coming to ULL that we would want?

Both would probably thrive in Napier's system.

Somebody refresh my memory. Wasn’t everyone saying it was Pruitt two years ago? This makes me think it’s not Napier.

If it is Napier both would fit his system. I think it’s similar to what Bama runs.

There in lies the rubb. Your example does not preserve the source(Unless the source told him to run and post the info on the internet...which I highly doubt).
You say you want info. You have been provided that very thing today. Info. Change is coming. Now you want more info. Gotta have that name now. Patience!!!!
I don?t want a single person with connections to burn their source. The only thing better than satisfaction....give me anticipation!!!

I’m just ready for tomorrow night so hopefully by then the name is out or at least “confirmed” considering there’s been 100 names thrown around the last couple of days. I know there’s probably only a select few that are realistic but so much shit has been thrown around by people and then the people “in the know” have been very cryptic and vague (I understand you have to be to keep your sources, not taking a shot) on who it is that it’s hard to keep up with it. I hope we kick their ass tomorrow evening & can hopefully then start seeing some things confirmed or at least some more detailed hints dropped. Part of me feels like it’s somewhat obvious on who it is (Napier or Norvell) and the other part is expecting the unexpected and refuses to be surprised by anything. The anxiety is killing me!! Lol

Seriously though Napier and Norvell sound cool and all, but I think a guy like Drinkwitz that was mentioned earlier would be a real interesting move. Doing big things at App State this year, Southern guy who took over at Springdale when Malzahn left and was around Auburns national championship team. Hard to see him leaving App State after only a year though.
All in all, I think Moorhead may have something already lined up and it'll be a cordial breakup. I just dont think his coaching style and philosophy was a fit for the SEC or the players we have but who's to say it won't work under different circumstances. I don't think he's a dumbass, but I do think he tried to be a captain of a ship before he understood the waters he was sailing in.
