Yeah they scored their first run after James missed that pop up. Cumbest didn't get charged with an error but in my book it is, that has to be caught by an sec outfielder. The thing is none of those plays were difficult(including the Tanner miss). They were all big cause they cost us runs but Forsyths really killed us. Combine errors with walks and recipe for disaster. Don't remember a time we played this poorly defensively, smh.Quote:

Losing the pitching was bigger than just losing top pitching. When all the pitching moved up, the back end of the bullpen became SEC weekend guys. The back end of bull pen is really bad, no where near SEC quality. Just good enough to compete midweek and now they are thrust into SEC win games roles.Quote:

Gotta get Hunt well, he along with Sims and Cade were the top 3 in fall and pre spring practice. I'm betting after this weekend we will see some changes in pitching rotation.
I think like many we are hitting better, but back end pitching is not looking good.
At least we won't be hearing all the rhetoric about how useless the SEC tournament is now. Assuming we make Hoover.
