Kids aren't always allowed to transfer when sanctions hit & when they are allowed it's usually only upperclassmen. I wouldn't bet on any of the 2016 guys just being allowed to walk with no problems.

Having coached in TN, there's just not a ton of top level talent there. That's why TN has to be able to recruit nationally. There lots of mid major talent, but not a lot of P5 talent. Yeah, State coaches love him because of his offer sheet of ULM, West Ga., Arky State and the Mississippi powerhouse Southern Miss! He also excels at playing 10-15 yards off of the receiver and still somehow getting burnt on deep passes... Sounds like our kinda DB!

I agree with you that not many people know. I actually taught Cam a couple of years ago. Not many people even know in Clinton. I just hope it isn't OM. I think if the NCAA stuff wasn't looming OM would be a lock.

He's a Feb. signee so it's going to drag out a while. The new WR name is Brandon Martin out of MGCC. Signed with LSU out of HS and played in the UA AA game. He didn't put up huge numbers this year, but he would be a good get in the early signing period. He's a fit at the X receiver.

Don't forget about Dontae Jones as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the TE's moved to WR- probably Johnson or Jones. I guess it just depends on how the spring goes.

Don't forget Robeson either as a possibility to move out from TE. He played there for most of his SR HS season and really excelled. He doesn't have top end speed, but showed great hands and route running.

IMO its a battle between us offering early playing time and others offering money. They just cant make up their minds what they want more but ultimately money wins out. Sounds silly but it really could be the reason, sadly.
