El oh El. That would've been a melt down. He had 3 to play 3 so we'll probably get him now
I hope we can get him next round. Gray will be graduating and Guidry could step right in
Really Clark?

Florida signed Robinson after all.
They finished very well.
Whoever made the decision on Robinson and then backtracked is weak as water. I would've signed him in the first place... no reason to take the moral high road and then sell out publically

Yeah, they're doing better than us. Still not gonna brag on them when they're 2nd in their state, 2nd in their division, and 4th in the sec. They should be top 5 every year, not 12th last year and 10th this year. Not to mention, Fsu dominates them every year on the field and recruiting wise

Agreed, as the Florida HC you should pretty much be able to fall out of bed in the morning and have a Top 20 class.

Just wondering, did we recruit Braylon Sanders, the .87... WR from Ga very hard? Notice he signed to go on probation with UNM who already had about 50*** wide receivers on the team. Not ever in it with him. backed off, got UNM outrecruited or what?

Looking forward to the 2018 recruiting thread starting tomorrow. This has been a good one. Thanks to all of you "in the know guys", as well as all of you "think you're in the know" guys (jk), for keeping us all informed and up to speed as best you could all year.
Here's to a good 2018 class loaded with WR's, OL's, and LB's

I have zero confidence we will ever have a good recruiting OL class as long as we have the current OL coach.

Why? You don't think offensive linemen want to work hard and develop?

This OLie class was not as awful as yal are making it. Richardson, Suggs, and Cooper all have a huge upside. Cooper needs to make it in. He has potential to be great.

Its really more of a numbers thing on OL. That's 2 years in a row that we've only signed 3 HS OL so it looks like we are probably going to be staying with our reliance of adding JUCO OL all along. Suggs is a very nice pickup, Richardson is a project and Cooper is a significant grade risk. It's Hevesy, so it is what it is.

We cancelled Sanders visit the week before he was to come. Guess we saw something that changed our minds. He is hard to figure out....if you simply go by his 4 star rating. Why were major schools not trying to get him? Steve mentioned that he ran a high 4.6 forty, so that's the only thing I've heard that would hold him back.

Define "fine". We have Some decent slot guys and Gray. We have to hope some others work out because they sure haven't proven it yet. If by fine you mean good enough to beat mediocre SEC defenses, then yea. If we are going to scare anyone with a decent defense we will have to have some people step up that have never played before.

Check out his rating on 247 and rivals. He's a mediocre 3-star on 247 and the #84 player in GA on rivals. So I would question that 4-star rating on him before I would question why schools weren't going after him. He's small and a bit slow. Not a good combo.

I think "fine" means we will have guys on the roster playing the position. That's about it. To be honest, for all the grief that Hevesy gets for not recruiting any OL that have stuck in the NFL, our WR coaches under Mullen have not put any WRs in the NFL either. And its even worse, I mean at least Hevesy coached Gabe Jackson his entire career and he is a good pro but we don't even have that at WR. If Fred Ross gets on a team and sticks he would be the first to do so under Mullen and crew. I'm thinking Ross is 50/50 to make a team and stay in the NFL for a few years. The biggest issue is not coaching at WR though, its just the fact that we don't sign WRs that have the level of talent to play in the NFL.

I remember another guy who could get open and catch the ball who was small and a bit slow.....Jerry Rice, nobody wanted him either.
