I just like the way Randolph handles the staff better. I mean Walker has a cannon but he doesn't get a ton of reps. He was throwing a 1.8-1.9 to the bag at CVCC so he's got the arm to be really good. But he can't hit at all. He probably hits worse than Randolph although we haven't seen nearly enough of a sample size to compare honestly.

My thoughts exactly. You have to make ULL limit their aggressiveness. Best way to do that is with a FB that can challenge them in the zone so they can't sit dead red or offspeed. Ross just can't do that. He's got good stuff, but eventually 82 MPH is 82 MPH. Good hitters can lock in on that no matter what else you throw.

one thing about it, this ULL team is pretty free swinging which really plays great into what Lindgren does.

Happy with how we ended considering where we were down 14-3. 5 unanswered runs and we got some guys hitting. Rea bomb, CT had two hits, Cody hit a couple balls hard, guys drew some walks and we got a couple looks at their catcher. Have to respond with an edge and some swagger tomorrow. Lindgren should be able to match their aggressiveness with his disappearing slider act hopefully.

Should be an exciting game.

You have me aboard Ref. I won't bitch at all tomorrow. I promise. I think we have a chance tomorrow. I think them having the two games today worked in their favor since they were at home and just kept hitting slow soft throwers like the JSU guy and then transitioning to Mitchell. Of course, it didn't help that Mitchell left his curve balls up in the zone. I think Laster and Lindgren will hold them to 3 or so runs. It will be up to us to get to 5 or 6. I think we can do it!
