Can't bench our starting SS right now. He went 2-4 last game so hopefully that will get him going. Also, you would only be trading his bat for Hatcher's so it's not really an upgrade at this point. LA has the potential to go yard as he has 6 homers on the year.
He also is responsible for that 5 run third Samford had. If he just throws that ball to first, odds are good they don’t score.
