I haven't seen the guy play, but if that is true OK must not develop players worth crap.
He hasn't played much due to football. Think of him as a freshman developmentally.

I'd think about pitching Small Friday. I really hope Pilk has his good stuff- we don't need to lose the first game.

Isn't Fsu park a hitters park with short fences especially RF?

Anybody know if Walker and Murray will play tomorrow?

Norman OK paper says they are both day to day. They not officially OUT but they are both considered inside of the recovery period for their respective injuries

Com'on man, that's just MLB obsession with ceilings. What is he today? He's 290 in the big 12 conference that's like 230 in the SEC. In-conference, Murray only hit 260.

Yes, Mike Martin is retiring after this year.

Really wish Westburg was healthy. 1-6 is good, but 7-9 are automatic outs most of the time. Maybe they'll prove me wrong today.

Is Gilbert hurt? What the Heck?

Still rather him start than Skelton.

OU Lineup: Notable non-starters - Steele Walker and Kyler Murray so they're down two starting OF

Wut? My boy Gilbert is hitting 260 and Skelton is hitting 220....against talented pitchers like Irvin, Skelton is hitting 140. Com'on coach!
My other permanent complaint is that Anderson is not playing and getting development. I hope he does not take his talents to Chipolla because MSU will rather play anybody (Tanner Poole and other non-Hot hitters) but him.

That's their top 2 ops guys. If pilk can't give us a good chance to win this game, I will be very disappointed in him

Don't care either way, but Skelton is hitting .250 in last 7 games. Gilbert has struck out 6 of last 19 AB.

Gilbert is one of the best defensive catchers in America and he may not hit well but neither does Skelton.

One of best defensive in America? Wow, then he will be drafted high, right? I think he is very good at throwing runners out, but no where near elite at blocking pitches. To be fair, neither is Skelton

Skelton is slower than my 47 year old wife if he does get on base.
