This is perhaps the premier closer in the sec that is death on Rh hitters. Wasn't a bad AB imo... hard hit to right side... just right at someone.

Winning the SEC tennis title today at least softens the blow a little for a crappy baseball weekend. While it would be nice to get into the NCAAs its pretty obvious to me that this team isn't going to make a lot of noise if they do get in. This A&M team just lost a series to TN last weekend. They were ripe to be beaten on the road (where they aren't nearly as good) and we couldn't do it. Wish we could have spread some of those 11 runs on Saturday to one of the other games. Bad part is that our pitching is pretty thin and will even get worse next year.

Well its at least a real accomplishment. This baseball team isn't going to accomplish squat. Softball either.

I did say that is great. I'm sick about this baseball season. I'd love to see us getting into the NCAA tourney if for nothing else the experience. But honestly I want to see who our next HC is gonna be right now.

I have not a clue any names of our tennis team. Hell I can't name one guy on the disc golf National Championship team. Lol

Yeah that was a monster 320 foot wind aided blast to RF. Now if we could just teach all our hitters to hit it right down the line, but just a little bit fair.....with a 305' corner we should be able to up our bottom of the league HR totals considerably.

Cann is probably 2-3 wins right off the bat alone.

To me, criticizing fans for hindsight is reasonable only when a coach makes a REASONABLE move or decision and it doesn't work out. When you have a coach that is NOT making reasonable decisions THAT is when a coach is open for criticism. For example- not making any mound visits when JB was struggling and giving up runs after we took the lead. Or bunting down two runs in the seventh inning with a guy that leads the team in home runs.

Those are things that Henderson not only did today but CONSISTENTLY does and it has without a doubt in my mind cost us wins.

This isn't about hindsight- it's about playing the percentages and having the common sense to know that when a pitcher is getting knocked around you don't just leave them out there to rot or just hope for the best. Because hindsight says those things probably weren't going to work anyway to start with.
