    Lamar Peters

    Lamar was the only scholarship player on the roster (minus Stapleton and Eli Wright) that didn't attend the Maroon and White Athletic Awards tonight.... both Spoons and Holman were there....so was Datcher, Carter, Feazell and Ado...

    I've had a bad feeling about him since the Feb. Hopefully there is a legit reason why he wasn't present.

    Lamar is in New Orleans training for the NBA Combine in a few weeks. He is enrolled in online courses. He is probably the most likely of the 3 early enrollees to stay in the Draft, but it would be unwise for any of them to not return to Starkville next fall.

    This. He's taking online classes & still in contact with Howland & saying all the right things. This isn't out of the ordinary for kids to workout for the combine & take online classes. Unless he absolutely kills it at the combine expect him back.

    Didn't he kill it at everything he did last year before coming back to school? I can see him doing it again this year too, and you being right. Unfortunately, that might mean bad things for us.
