How the hell are we this bad? JB looks identical to what he did last year. Can’t throw a freaking strike and really had one great outing last year and that was it.

Atta boy, Cole. Get this out

Our coaches and players have no concept of what it takes to score runs. It’s not about bunting, sac flys, stealing bases, or any of that other nonsense. Each player should treat each and every at-bat the same, with the only goal being to not make an out. If our players/coaches would take that to heart, start working pitchers, quit hacking at bad first pitches, stop sac bunting, and put our highest on-base guys higher in the order (Alexander batting 2nd and not Stovall should be a punishable offense), we’d at least be giving ourselves a chance to score some runs. Every game that we continue to give away outs for no reason, we will continue to fail.

That lineup that Henderson put together is horrible. Since he knows he’s not getting the job, you can tell he’s not giving a shit with some of these decisions.
-
looks like we got out of that with only 2 runs. bases were loaded with nobody out and 1 run was already in. double play then ground out gets us out of it.
-
Mizzou Sunday guy popping glove at 94. I have not seen one of our pitchers match that velocity all year
-
Stovall heating up. If he keeps hitting, it would make a huge difference in our offense
-
then gets caught stealing. 2 down, nobody on.

So Laloosh has gone form a Sat/ Sunday guy as a Frosh to a mid week relief guy as a soph.??
That’s actually hard to do...
With the arms we have on this staff there is no reason for JB to be a Sunday starter..

On Sunday playing us, I would make my team take 2 strikes before swinging. Between JB, Cole, and France, we would walk half or more of their hitters

That's what happens when everyone gets scared that trying to add velocity will lead to Tommy John instead of looking at the situation objectively and trying to fix it instead of just giving up because "it won't work at MSU".

Hate the catcher standing up early on that high 0-2 pitch. Easy tip

Very tough play for the catcher, but Skelton lets everything get by him
-
Hats off, Cole... great job of at least giving us a shot

We need to do that with this Mizzou guy. We have swung at more balls then he’s thrown strikes. He had seven walks against LSU last weekend.
