Jeez, what a stupid statement. There are too many automatic bids for nobodies for that to ever be true. The fact remains that best teams ARE in the Dance. They are NOT in the NIT.
Not stupid at all...the point is with the auto bids, a large number of teams that are better than those autos are left out. It’s stupid to assert that because a team didn’t make the tourney that they aren’t among the 68 best teams in the country.
