I'm aware, but those are really his only 2 bad losses in his whole 16-year career, compared to lots of specific great wins (way more than Mullen ever had). The Portland State loss was very fluky looking at the stats.

More supposition based on absolutely no evidence. Just pulling sentences out of your ass.

It doesn't, but his outstanding success at Texas Tech and Washington, including multiple wins over Oklahoma, Texas, USC, and more suggest that he would win in the SEC West.

He?s also at Washington State trying to build a program with arguably a worse history than ours. Mullen lost to South Alabama in year 8.
He also never had a losing season at TTU if I remember correctly.

You are correct:

Took over for a guy who won 9 games in 4 years (literally, wow!), so had some tough times early, but has Washington State at the point where they'll rip of a long string of successes if he stays. Beat Stanford the last 2 years, Oregon the last 3 years. 2-1 against USC, 3-1 against Kyle Whittingham's Utah.

He is like 12 - 45 vs ranked opponents. He has had some good wins but it's not like he consistently beats ranked teams. And he is hasn't beat an SEC team since UNM in 2003. 0-3 since then

Leach doesnt give a shit about anything but offensive numbers, just like his idol Hal Mumme

Any myths about his offense not being a good fit for our roster or "he doesn't play defense!" are easily disproven.
1. He is an air raid founding father. The air raid has never won a championship of any kind in major college football or in the NFL. Its a gimmick and the guys who run it only care about their numbers at the end of the day.
2. Running the air raid creates a finesse football team, hurting your defense by scoring quickly and always having them on the field.
These are proven facts. Leach is not a good fit for us. We dont have the QB or WRs on the roster to run his offense

That's just something you made up out of thin air, not even remotely based on facts.

Alright guys, if we end up with him and drop the opener to Stephen F. Austin next year, I expect y'all to lead the charge explaining why its ok we lost to them**
For real though, my concern is that the magic bullet seems to be being able to get pressure with a 3 man D-line. Bama, LSU, and Auburn consistently have elite D-lines, and we can usually assume one or two of our other SEC opponents will have really dang good D-lines too per season. If you watched the Apple Cup yesterday Washington was able to get pressure with 3, and his offense was pathetically anemic. Just like last year's Apple Cup.
I've watched the last two Apple Cups because I like watching Mike Leach teams, I've been disappointed both times.

2000 Oklahoma says hi.
So does 2005 Texas, which wasn't a traditional air raid, but resembles what we would have next year with Leach, a with Vince Young throwing for 3000 and running for 1000
