    The students are the worst offenders. We were up 18 in the third quarter against BYU and had just fumbled on our own 27. There were maybe 300 people in the student section. Just sad.

    Liverpooldawg, please forgive me for "breaking old news" about the price of UMass tickets. This tread had talked about giving tickets to people who might not otherwise see a college game and perhaps helping them experience State as a future student or athlete. I thought someone might be interested in the discounted tickets also. I'm just a lowly State fan whose family has been buying season tickets for about 45 years and I will be at the game as I have been since 1964. Don't understand your post toward me. Just trying to help. Hail State! And Tusk, I wish the price was a typo, but UMass not a hard ticket to get and not a saleout.

    Speaking of poor attendance ... tuned in to the start of the Memphis/Tulane game and there's hardly anybody at the game in Memphis.
