You call the same thing the last time it was 4th down and you continue the drive. Why not go with what worked before?
Because teams run analytics on what you call in certain downs & distances.
By throwing in there is a non-competitive game, Texas A&M now has to account for us possibly throwing on 4th down.
Bill Belechik does this all the time when games are already decided. Goes against the grain in certain situations to screw up the analytics of tendencies for the next team we play
