We're going to be very solid at outside WR in a year with Jackson, Couch, Todd, Heath who I think could start as a freshman, and Williams.
I hope Patterson qualifies because he could be awesome in the slot along with Nero Nelson.
The report on 24/7 said that Osirus Mitchell could be a part of that, too.

How is Orius"?" Mitchell progressing? He can also be one of the bigs to step up.

Very true. I have a feeling by mid season at least one of those guys will step up and be reliable on the outside for us.

Yup.

It's practice, young players should improve, experience is a great thing.
We have some guys who should step up this year, wr is my list concern, plus our tight ends will play a big part this year not only in the passing game but in the run game.

Could be our WRs are better than some folks around here thought they would be.

Or it could be that we had the worst secondary in the SEC last season

Isn't Jackson a "big" receiver?

The DBs will be fine. We are the best there we have been in a few years. Dantzler is damn good. Hes made noise since he got here

So what was the knock on Mitchell coming out of HS? I remember he was a low 3 star but damn the guy has Kelvin Benjamin size. Is he just rough around the edges and we think we can polish him out or something physical like speed?
