To better understand the dynamic, one would be better off to compare them to the liberal democrats. Most trial lawyers are liberal democrats who don't take any BS. Hence most of their alumni. They(LD's) never stop fighting, even when they win. They just move on to the next topic or cause and fight until they win that one. It's not about the topic or cause.
