Yea, I'd rather see us DH Vansau & put LA at 3B. He has as much chance of hitting a bomb (and K'ing) as Cole, but at least gives you some speed and a bunt option ahead of the leadoff. Oh well

Their guy is 7-4, 2.75 era. Teams hit .212 against him. A whip right at 1.0. Not a power guy apparently-well under a strikeout per inning.

Bragg looked overmatched to me Friday even though he got a hit.
I wouldn't argue against playing Alexander or Poole and having Vansau DH.
Any of the choices are a gamble so we have to hope that we get lucky.

    Hail State! Go Dawgs!
Might be the only game played today, if we get it in. Weather does not look good coming out of S. Louisiana.

I agree, Poole and Belmont will be lucky to see the field next year. I think Cann will upgrade our hitting next year.

If we're gonna DH in 9-spot, wish we'd pull a Corbin and name plumlee DH. That way we can choose who to hit when the 9-spot comes up

Better make it a pitcher you know will not pitch. Plumlee can pitch this morning

You know you have a shitty roster when the DH bats 9th and K's like 50% of the time, and is slow as Christmas

Never think about shortening up with 2 strikes. Ever

If mangum leaves the bat on his shoulder it's a 3-1 count.

This years team is so unclutch like 2014-2015 not clutch - this is the seasons of the damned, other than Rooker

If Mangum leaves the bat on his shoulder someone should immediately check on him because he's not conscious.

RBI spots find Jake and he hasn't shown an ability to be patient or give us anything other than a groundball.
