    Very shaky win, but it's a conference win

    Glad Pilk was able to grind 6 innings, I guess we have everyone still available tomorrow and looks like Self matches up well with Alabama

    We're scuffling but we got the win and that can help us get hot again. Barlow, Self, and Price came up big and Cody Brown made a huge play in the outfield in the ninth there. Lovelady and Bragg had a couple of good at bats where they actually went opposite field off of a slider guy to get the final runs.

    Let's take two tomorrow!

    Not a good looking win, but you can't complain about getting it done. We keep stepping up and finding a way. Bragg showed out, the bottom of the lineup picked up the slack, and we won despite Pilk pitching his C game.

    You are correct, we should not be complaining about any win no matter how ugly. This is still one of the most overachieving sports teams at MSU I can remember. We won tonight getting no hits from Mangum or Rooker.

    And Cann said postgame that he was giving Belmont a breather to let game slow down for him...that's never a good sign in middle of the season.

    Nope. Bragg made the most of his opportunity tonight. He obviously has the skills to play 3B. Makes you wonder if it was attitude / consistency as to why he hasn't gotten more of a chance before now. Had to be something.

    I said it a month ago. Kid better hit or else.. yeah having the game slow down this late in the year not a good thing.. I'm sure LA and Bragg will spilt the DH today.. LA better have some good Ab's ..
