No, it was the 5th and we bunted a guy on 1st to 2nd down 4. I've watched a lot of baseball and never seen that before. #revolutionary

Im ok with the bunt.
You have a team that cant score and needs some type of spark. We have only scored 6 runs in 24 innings. Doesnt hurt to try something there. Nothing is more moronic than sac bunting in inning 1. Gordon could go to the plate and swing the bat with the barrel and try to hit the ball with the handle- and it wouldnt be as dumb as sac bunting in the 1st inning

That's crazy. Bunting to try and get an early lead when you have a shitty offense is not at all dumber than the scenario you just said. But I'll let you & 7 duke this one out

Skelton cant hit. Not a lick. Neither can Lovelady. Neither one is hitting .200 and isnt. Bunt the guy over and hope Poole or Magnum can drive them in. Why burn a catcher with a PH to bring in another that cant hit? Marrero is gone and Stovall is hurt. You dont have a 3rd catcher. If you burn Skelton and Lovelady gets hurt- you're ****ed.
Thats a normal thought. Sac Bunting in the 1st inning is not.
