I've been tough on this team; but there's no doubt had the TJ bug not bit us, we'd be an unbelievable pitching team. I think this team is gonna be pretty dang solid on the mound as is

Great win for us tonight. Much needed. We just beat a pretty respectable team at a time where we are really struggling and it seems like the baseball gods aren't on our side. People bitch about the hitting- we are always going to struggle against aces no matter even if we have the MSU dream team as a lineup. The guy that they threw tonight had an ERA of 0.00 coming into the game. I thought Cann coached much better tonight. And I guess he will bunt in the first inning. We made some mistakes on the bases at times and Skelton hit another guy on K in the dirt. Skelton HAS TO work on that. It felt like Cohen was coaching again for at least tonight- bunting in the first inning and bringing in Barlow with two strikes- my guess is Cohen and Cann had a meeting this week.
We need to get three more wins this weekend. We can't afford to **** any of them up.

Good post, great win but the big boy on the mound was not their ace. He only had one start coming in. He may very well become their ace though.

We actually hit several balls on the nose. But they were the dreaded At EM balls. We are going to have to start scoring some runs. But our pitching has been good enough lately.

He had pitched 10.2 ip in 3 games coming in. He pitched a CG (8 innings) vs us

I noticed that he had a save coming in to tonight's game. And I think you are right that he may become their ace looking at his numbers, how they used him this week, and also based on the rest of their pitching staff's numbers.
