It definitely was a factor in his decision to move on, no question about it. Finishing in the cellar of the SEC two out of three years would have not been good for his long term prospects. I think he knew what this team was going to be after the first 4 Tommy John injuries. Obviously, not his fault though and most reasonable fans would have been happy to give him another year ("most" being the key word).
This team has more issues than TJ victims. We really only have 1 legitimate middle of the order bat in rooker. We have some guys that can hit, but no real strike fear in opposing teams like we should have
