Would have been a tough catch no doubt but he got his glove fully to the ball. Its not like it tipped off the edge. Just one of those where we just can't make the tough play in a key situation.

To be honest, this MSU team has no business play 4 game weekends. This is the thinnest pitching staff we've had since when Cohen first arrived. Just not enough arms to be solid for 4 games in 3 days.

Yea, I've had that happen multiple times in my baseball days though...you're hauling ass fully extended, snowcone it, and your next hard step jars it loose. It's tougher play than it looked, but not worth arguing y'all over. That play has nothing to do with our deficit imo. Walks and having the wrong pitchers out there do

True. Especially if you aren't going to even throw 2 of your top 4 arms. We're trying to win 4 with a depleted team and then we tie a hand behind our back to make it even tougher
