This is just asinine. He can't start in the SEC but several teams like North Carolina and NC State were just fine with him starting in the ACC.

Yep. Just frustrating to watch (with Ready out) the youngest team in the country.

I'm trying to be patient with this young team. I just don't understand making the same mistakes over and over throughout every game. All that silly passing and losing opportunities to score over and over.

Because they are freshmen and sophomores. Peters keeps making the same mistakes over and over because A) he is an emotional player and he thinks he can take it himself at times or B) he makes the right pass but Herard muffs the pass and turns it over on the inside. Q makes mistakes because he tries too hard instead of letting the game come to him. He is still learning. Carter/Wright are making mistakes because they haven't been given a lot of minutes on top of being freshmen. Kegler has made huge strides this year but still makes boneheaded plays like the T the other night. Stapleton hasn't played organized basketball in two years and isn't fully healthy on top of being a sophomore playing wise. And on top of all this our steady senior point guard has been out the past four games of which we are 1-3 in his absense. We have talent. We are trending up; however just too much youth and inexperience to overcome our obstacles at the moment.

No Q needs surgery then you'll see pre-injury Q again after it heals

Yeah, overall, tonight was an encouraging night. South Carolina is tough and we played them toe to toe. The key next year is for our bigs to really improve in the offseason. Holman, Herard and Ado really need to bring it next year.

Why does Cal/Arizona get a much better and more competent announcing crew than SC/MSU?

People need to chill on Q. He's a sophomore who is having to deal with SEC teams game planning to stop him for the first time. He is naturally laid back and doesn't like to force the action.
Everyone assumed he was ready because he became our best player last year...but last year's team wasn't good. He's a very good player who was forced into the 'go-to' role, not because he was ready for it.
He will be fine. He is not struggling because of the wrist, that's crazy.

Is Herard hurt on one or both hands? He has gotten really bad lately handling passes and has cost us 6-14 points a game.

They wanted to sign him- it doesnt mean they wanted him to start as a true freshman

Q has no intentions of having surgery.
It doesnt affect his shot or his footwork- its on his offhand.

YeH, I'm down on Q. He's a terrible defender that that can't seem to score on good teams. If his wrist is the problem, have the surgery

Is the Ole Miss women's coach the long lost son of Frank Martin? They both have those wild ass eyes!

Yeah, I lost it at the end when Peters came back in and causally threw the ball away.
Whistleblower exposes: (FISA), Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, 156 other judges, members of Congress, and Donald J. Trump were targeted by the HAMMER.

It was a good thought. If Herard could catch a ball, he would have had a layup.

He is just where he is. He is very raw and showed great signs of improvement earlier and now has hit a freshman wall. He has had some great games and had some lapses. He will be a really great player for us his junior and senior years.
