Carter, I love you, but damn kid, stop shooting so much
-
Sit Carter down. He is no way ready for SEC ball as a true Freshman.

That statement is so full of shit. Red shirts?

You have to play Carter because of IJ Glass.

Spot up shooter right now... he can't keep trying to create his own shot
-
Peters in the locker room.
-
Carter, Bless his heart ( Baptist lead on any negative remark and makes it ok**), looks like he's about 14 years old.
-
Q is such a shitty team mate
-
That call against Carter is what has ruined the college game. The Tennessee player was bumping Carter and the call was against Carter. Used to be a no call unless it was blatant, and the offensive player initiated the contact.
-
We shot 20% for the half. We are only down 12z. If Peters can come back in we still have a chance. The defense wasn't half bad.

Marketing Dawg, sorry I'm not an BB expert like you, but what I meant is that many on this young team could have used a red shirt year to learn how to play as a team, if we weren't a team mainly made of Freshmen and have little choice but to play them now.
-
So after being down 17-2 we are only down by 12. If we heat up from three and make them shoot perimeter shots, we can get back in this. But will our players give effort in the second half? Who the heck knows.
-
I agree. I don't understand why we start so slow.

Carter is the only one I see that could use a redshirt year to get muscle on his 160 lb frame. The others (sans EJ Datcher) would be playing major minutes other places. Heck even Carter could have named any place he wanted to go. We are just an extremely young team and when you took IJ Glass out of the equation we lack leadership. Shit, Q has been the biggest disappointment here IMO because he hasn't led one bit.

Guys that are in the Top 150 prospects in BB are not looking to redshirt. About the only FR that probably could have been redshirted is Carter and that is only because he is so physically frail.

At some point, you have to stop starting the same guys that are getting us off to such terrible starts. The way this team has performed lately, I don't see one guy that deserves to be wrote in as a starter with a pen.

I can see three guys that won't start next year based on who we have coming in (Peters, Holman, and Herard). We will replace them with aggressive players like Nick, Brooks, and Ado. That is what this team needs bangers and all we have are softies.
