Yea, interesting. Recruiting people in the know seem to think we are likely to get him back but I haven't seen anything from Odom himself. Also, didn't he plan some announcement time on signing day or something? Doesn't sound like he would need to announce his choice if was truly 100% in his commitment to Louisville.

That was set up with the HSNetwork, same deal that did Akers. Bowie (12:00) will be right after Odom (11:45) on Wed.

He will have already signed and submitted his paperwork well before his ceremony. We had Simmons' paperwork before 8 last year and sat on it until his ceremony.

Same thing will probably happen here.

Wasn't labryan ray a composite 4 star just a day or 2 ago? I guess the 100% to bama CBs and Ohio state pushing bama for top recruiting spot pushed ray to 5-star status

Yep, the pandering that is done for certain fanbases with the recruiting rankings really tarnishes the whole legitimacy of the ratings. At some point, maybe 45 to 60 days out from signing day I wish all of the recruiting sites would agree not to rerate anyone after that point without dramatic cause (like an arrest or something). From an ability standpoint you've already seen everything you need to see from someone by then to properly rate them.

True, but I think even Paul and Robbie stop short of trying to artificially bump up someone within a week of signing day.
