    We can't beat anyone when Fitz can't run. We really need another QB during games we have to rely on the pass.     It's not that we don't want anyone to pay for it, it's just I'm not sure getting a new DC next year helps the problem.

    You shouldn't fire people as punishment. You fire people because you believe you'll be better going forward with someone else. Not sure firing Sirmon helps us next year

    No DB has much pride or heart. One play it's 1 not trying, the next 41, and on it goes. As far as lack of speed Bryant's 4.2 must be in a straight line only always at a bad angle.

    The players are outclassed by talent, but more importantly by experience, at every postition except QB. Hurt has much more help than Fitz to cover that up. The defense has not given up; they are whupped, frustrated, and are getting no help from the officials. Mullen can't do anything about this, except use it as a teaching opportunity. He has done that throughout the game.The team has a legit shot to finish strong and build some excitement for next year. All you downers will be saying how great Mullen did this year if he gets to a bowl game or even wins the Egg. Stop overreacting like you are State's version of Stephen A. Smith and be realistic about where the team is this year in comparison to a peaking Alabama team.

    Fitz can make plays. Honestly, he playing as well or close to as well as Dak ever played against Bama.
