I for one think it is time to not be ok with just beating our 4 non conf games and beating kentucky, mizzo, vandy and going to a bowel.he is 0 and 7 against al,1 and 7 against lsu,2 and 5 against au,2 and 5 against ark.I am not trying to be down or start a argument, but would we really be that bad if we let him go.I mean if just reaching a bowel game is what most msu fans want then dan is ur man, but me i want to compete with teams other than kentucky.

Please give us the coach, or coaches' names who would come here if Mullen was fired this year? I'll hang up and listen.

How long have you been following State? If this is THIS DOWN, couldn't have been too long. We will bounce back at some point might be next year or it could end up being another 7-8 year end of Sherrill/Croom purgatory. Let's hope for next year.

If I thought we could get a good coach if Mullen left, I'd be ok with him leaving. But, when Western Michigan's coach is the best option, no thanks! I would rather have Mullen for another year and hold on to a decent recruiting class (even if Juco heavy) with a good QB. There just aren't going to be any good options with the number of jobs opening up this year.

"But if you think we overachieved this season- you are an idiot. If Mullen wins more than 6 next year- that will be overachieving".
at the time I was arguing that this year would be better than last year...he disagreed and he was right - I'm enough of a man to say I was wrong and I left this quote on my signature to show that
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Is it confirmed that he interviewed with Miami last year? I know that's always been the speculation, but sometimes when speculation is speculated long enough, it becomes fact, regardless of the truth.

There have been multiple coaches who have had a losing season or even more and bounce back. Gary Patterson at TCU had a Losing season in year 5 and went 4-8 in year 14, etc. The arbitrary, we shouldn't have X record in a coaches X year is not a justified argument.

My main thing has been the season has to play out and we should have open discussions at that time. A lot of what is said is emotional posts because we are struggling, the interview with Miami eroded some of the positives he built (which when he was first hired 95% of the fans were more than ok with us being a stepping stone school) or agenda narratives that have been pushed since 2013.

Yes. Stricklin even acknowledged it publically. He didn't interview with anyone else though. Maryland was strickly made up by one of their 247 site guys, Rutgers was never true some just tried to make a false theory since his former agent graduated from their, Georgia was Smart's expecially after Herman pulled out (they called about him being one of the next level of candidates but no interview)

Thanks for the color. Didn't realize Strick confirmed it.

Western Michigan's coach is going to be a great coach for someone with a lot more prestige than Western Michigan by this time next year. He has a real chance to go undefeated there this year.

I been following state a long time, had season tickets the last fifteen years so i have seen a lot of down years, my point and i am not trying to be negative i just think that 8 yrs with one coach we should not be this down. But i am not by no means giving up i just thought we have finally moved on from 3-4 wins a season.
