I don't know if I'd say he is better than Owens because they're 2 totally diff players & play different positions. Owens is 6'4" 285-290lbs who can play DE & perhaps NG in the 3-4. Sweat is 6'6" 235-240lbs who would be a Viper in the 3-4. Both would be huge gets though.

Looks like Sweat went to the same HS as Preston Smith. That's gotta help being able to show we've already taken one 6'6 DE from Stone Mountain & made him a top 40 pick. Any idea who we're up against?

He says he's still committed but he's a 2018 kid hard to give him a lot of attention. I want to see what he looks like on the field this year. He's gained some pounds & doesn't look like the good kind.

Drelan Porter...whats the story on him? Paul Jones reported a few days ago that he was not enrolling at EMCC but was at Northeast. Now David Johnson is reporting on OM247 that he is enrolling at Coahoma. How do we feel about him? Is he on schedule to make it out of juco in one year or two?

No such thing as a 115 mile travel route from Memphis to S'ville. I lived in NW Desoto County when I attended (class of '62) and traveled it every way possible, including Hwy 78 to Tupelo and 45 on in to 82....Hwy 51 to Winona and 82....even the graveled section on the road from Highway 8 out of Grenada to Bellfontaine where I connected with 15 into Eupora...not the best route...LOL.
