H-E-Double Hockey Sticks, after the power outage and delay I discovered the radio broadcast is about 30 to 45 seconds ahead of the ESPN broadcast on TV. My son and I turned the radio off, but then I was scared to death that what we watching in the 9th had already gone bad! Anyway, let's win tomorrow and force a pressure packed game 3. Hail State!

In fact, Arizona is probably one of the worst teams left in this tournament sans Boston College. No matter how you look at it this was an embarrassing loss.

I haven't read his thread and won't. My only comment is: Give the pitcher from Arizona some credit. He pitched a heck of a game.

THIS ALL F*CKING DAY. HE LOOKED LIKE COMPLETE T TOTAL SHIT ALL NIGHT. He's pulling off of everything.

This times a million. And it wasn't just last night, ever since he came back he has been pulling off of everything. He is to focused on trying to slash hit and dig out everything that it is causing him to pull his head - hell he pulls his whole body away. I have been bitching to my buddies incessantly about Robson being in front of Rooker. It is a classic Cohen over think. I believe he thinks he is resetting the lineup by having Robby in the 5 spot, it's the only feasible explanation.

It was a combination of a really good pitching performance combined with an umpire with a ridiculously large strike zone. The pitcher never really had to throw anything near the middle of the zone because he could throw out of the zone and still get called strikes which is what he did. It would have been a much different situation if there had been an ump calling with a more reasonable strike zone. That ump was calling everything a strike from inside upper chest to a good 6 inches off the plate to the outside. Made it tough on both offenses but their pitcher utilized the gigantic strike zone better than Hudson did and seemed to be getting more marginal strike calls than even Hudson did.
